Automotive Interior Needle-punching Production Line (Wheel Housing, Floor Mat, Underbody Shield)
Production Process Flow
Fiber package → Unpacking machine → Multi-bin blending machine → Coarse loosening → Fine loosening → Air pressure cotton box → Double-lap double-roller carding machine → Cross laying machine → Pre-needling → Main needling (multiple plates cross-needling) → Heat setting / Hot rolling (optional) → Online weight detection → Edge cutting → Storage → Rolling up
Raw material formula: PET polyester staple fiber + low-melting-point two-component fiber (Bico). Some formulas include hollow PET to enhance sound absorption; black mother powder is mixed in advance, resulting in a black final product; the low-melting-point fibers melt and bond during heat setting / molding, ensuring no delamination or shedding after molding.
Complete Equipment Configuration
  • Mixing Unit: Bag opening machine, multi-bin mixing, coarse opening, fine opening, capable of blending backfilling scraps; the uniformity of the mixed fibers is crucial, affecting the consistency of the mold pressure strength
  • Feeding + Combing: Air pressure cotton box (stable quantitative) + double-slewing double-roller combing machine, ensuring uniform fiber web
  • Cross-laying Machine: High-weight wheel cover, enhancing thickness and lateral strength through multiple layers of overlapping nets, the laying accuracy directly determines the CV value of the weight
  • Needling Unit (Core): Pre-needling + multiple main needle-pressing units (often paired needle-pressing / upper and lower needle-pressing); the needle-planting density is higher than that of clothing loose fibers, ensuring the compactness and wear resistance of the felt; but not to the point of being completely pierced, preserving the moldability after molding
  • Heat Setting Oven: Controls the heat shrinkage rate, activates the pre-adhesion of low-melting-point fibers, preventing mold deformation (the wheel cover must be equipped, and many loose-fiber lines do not have it)
  • Online density detection, edge cutting machine, fabric storage rack, automatic winding
  • PLC full-line linkage, optional dust removal system (strict dust control for automotive parts)
